About StreamCode Studio, why it was setup and it's purpose.
StreamCode Studio didn't start as a big platform. It began as Stewart's WebWorks - my personal development website and portfolio many years ago.
Back then, I noticed something happening again and again in radio communities: station owners struggling to get even a basic webpage online. Many didn't need anything complex - just something simple they could upload, edit a few details, and have an instant online presence.
As a PHP developer, I decided to help. I started creating free scripts - small, practical systems that people could download, configure and upload without needing to understand complex coding.
It quickly became clear that many newcomers were asking the same questions about databases, ports and server connections. That's when I created the very first helper tool: Database & Port Checker.
What began as a handful of helpful scripts gradually grew into something much larger. With tools, forums, HTML5 players, a chat system, WordPress integration and advanced radio systems - the original site had outgrown its name.
And that's when StreamCode Studio was born.
