Firstly, all scripts are developed and tested using PHP 8+ and RadioDJ v2.0.5.0.
Please also note that the built-in stream URL system is designed primarily for Shoutcast.
If your stream format differs, you may need to adjust the function accordingly.

Stream URL Function

Customising for Your Stream
Depending on how your stream is structured, you may need to modify:

Slash vs Double Colon

Default:

. SC_URL_IP . '/' . SC_PORTNM . '/listen.mp3'

If your stream uses colon syntax:

. SC_URL_IP . ':' . SC_PORTNM . '/listen.mp3'

Different Mount Points
If your stream isn't /listen.mp3, simply change it to whatever your server uses—e.g.:

> /stream
> /live
> /stream.mp3
> /radio.mp3

iTunes Artwork Notice

The script attempts to fetch missing artwork from iTunes (Apple Music).
However, keep in mind:
> If your library contains thousands of tracks,
> And your now-playing system refreshes every 10 seconds,
> And you have many visitors…

…then iTunes will receive a huge number of artwork requests and may begin rate-limiting or blocking you.

Recommendation:
Use your own artwork library wherever possible, and allow the iTunes fallback to handle only the gaps. This significantly reduces API load and helps keep everything stable.
